ALL SET FOR THE PLU FRESHMAN'S PARTY

Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student body has confirmed that all is set for the much anticipated freshman's party event to be staged at the institution's campus premises on Friday the 1st of March 2024.


In a  press briefing organized by the Student Union at the institution's campus premises, the current male Entertainment Director Sam Kizzy Mhango has confirmed that the long awaited 2024 PLU freshman's party will be taking place on Friday the 1st of March 2024 and that all preparations pertaining to the event are done and dusted.


"I am here to confirm to the whole PLU Community as well as the general public that this year's freshman's party is back and happening this coming Friday, everything is in place and we are just finalizing formalities and making final arrangements to make the event memorable and epic," said Mhango.


The event which will be the first of its kind at the institution has attracted the presence of award-winning Dancehall icon Malinga Mafia, trending hip-hop figure Crispy Malawi and one of the best DJs in the game, Spark the DJ -- who are set to perform at the event to elevate the magnitude of the event.


One of the sons of the soil who is an exceptional figure in hosting events, Brian Dambula is set to host the event.


Mhango further stated that he and his team have organized a very tight security system which will ensure that security at the event is very strong and effective amidst worries from other students who have been patronizing the event for years on lack of security in previous editions of the event.


The event is set to be memorable and breathtaking in the history of the PLU with two hot music giants in the country's music circles set to perform for the first time at the institution .


According to Mhango, his office has also received a lot of applications from possible business personalities who are willing to bring different products at the event for promotion and corporate purposes.


Apart from the main purpose of the event which is welcoming new students at the institution who have just been enrolled in first year, the event will also witness the crowning of Mr and Miss PLU to add icing on the already tasty cake.


Students at the institution will be required to part ways with K2000 to gain entry at the  event and for outsiders willing to patronize the event, K3000 only is all that is required of them to gain entrance to this epic event.


President of the Student Union at the Institution Clement Magombo then concluded by urging all students to patronize the event to help the institution organize such events in the near future.


Meanwhile adrenaline is pumping through the souls of many students at the institution who see this event as an entertainment masterclass capable of quenching their vibe thirst and hunger for entertainment enrichment.

  Pentecostal Life University (PLU) is set to recognize the efforts made by outstanding personalities graduating at the Institution at the upcoming Finale dinner gala. The Institution is staging a Finale dinner gala event scheduled for Friday the 22nd of December 2023 at the state of art Bingu International Convention Center in Lilongwe. PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN DATES CONFIRMED

  Campaign dates for the upcoming Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student Union elections have been set for the 29th of November 2023 according to the Elections Committee Treasurer . In an interview with the Incumbent Student Union Treasurer who is also treasurer to the Elections Committee Jedidiah Kalilango, aspiring candidates in the upcoming elections are to start campaigning on the 29th of November 2023 and will end a day before voting while the actual day for the elections will be communicated to the Students later "Campaigning will start on Wednesday this week and about the election day, I will confirm" said Kalilango. He further added that registration for those aspiring to contest in the Elections is currently open and will close on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 at  11:59am.   The much anticipated Pentecostal Life University (PLU) student Union Elections have commenced at the Institution's campus in Area 25, Lilongwe. At exactly 9:30 am Students started flocking at the voting station to elect new office bearers to the Institution's Student Union and most of them showed delight and happiness to exercise their voting rights.
