PLU TO EMBARK ON A CHARITY INITIATIVE

Pentecostal Life University is set to embark on a charity initiative this coming Friday as Students and Members of Staff at the Institution will be  visiting Chikondano and Mphatso Orphan care center in Area 25, Lilongwe to make donations .


Confirming the development through an Online Interview with the Sight Media Group, Marketing Manager for the Institution Bester Chikafutwa said that as an Institution they came up with this initiative in line with the Institution's core mission of "Raising Global Leaders" which instills the need to take care of social problems being faced by people in different communities in the minds of Students at the Institution"First,  it starts with PLU as an institution core mission of "Raising Global Leaders". As such after finishing the year inculcating knowledge to the students from the books, we also wanted to instill the essential value of taking care of the social problem existing in their surrounding. This is what leaders and responsible people do, and this is what we teach our students to be doing after finishing their studies,"Said Chikafutwa.


He further urged members of staff and students at the Institution to come forward and donate any form of support to the cause to further make the initiative a success .


On the other hand newly elected Student Union President at the Institution Clement Magombo stated that the initiative will go a long way in instilling the Culture of responsibility amongst members of staff at the Institution as well as Students and that it gives the Students a platform to give back to their immidiate Community.


Meanwhile the Institution's management has set up booths around the Institution campus where Members of Staff and Students at the Institution can forward their donations.


Pentecostal Life University is one of the Private tertiary Institutions in the country which has been producing responsible and able intellectuals in the country.

  Pentecostal Life University (PLU) is set to recognize the efforts made by outstanding personalities graduating at the Institution at the upcoming Finale dinner gala. The Institution is staging a Finale dinner gala event scheduled for Friday the 22nd of December 2023 at the state of art Bingu International Convention Center in Lilongwe. According to the University Management, all logistics pertaining to the event have been finalized and that the Institution will be awarding Students who performed well in different Categories during their time at the Institution Including Sports, Leadership, Discipline, Enterprenuership , Socialization and Dressing just to mention a few. The management further stated that the Criteria used to choose nominees was purely based on merit. The winners to these prestigious awards will be determined through an Online Poll  which has been set up by the Institution to give the liberty to other students at the Institution to select their preffered personalities

PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN DATES CONFIRMED

  Campaign dates for the upcoming Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student Union elections have been set for the 29th of November 2023 according to the Elections Committee Treasurer . In an interview with the Incumbent Student Union Treasurer who is also treasurer to the Elections Committee Jedidiah Kalilango, aspiring candidates in the upcoming elections are to start campaigning on the 29th of November 2023 and will end a day before voting while the actual day for the elections will be communicated to the Students later "Campaigning will start on Wednesday this week and about the election day, I will confirm" said Kalilango. He further added that registration for those aspiring to contest in the Elections is currently open and will close on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 at  11:59am. PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS COMMENCE

  The much anticipated Pentecostal Life University (PLU) student Union Elections have commenced at the Institution's campus in Area 25, Lilongwe. At exactly 9:30 am Students started flocking at the voting station to elect new office bearers to the Institution's Student Union and most of them showed delight and happiness to exercise their voting rights. In an interview with the Sight Media Group Chairperson for the Elections Committee Presiding over the Elections Kenneth Chikwangwala said that Students at the institution should expect a free, fair  and credible Elections for the fact that he has assembled a very passionate and dedicated team of personnel handling the Elections.
