MSONDA RECEIVING DEATH THREATS

Democratic Progressive Party(DPP) National Governing Committee(NGC) member Ken Msonda has today revealed that he and his Collegues are receiving death threats from other Senior DPP members.


Msonda made these remarks during a press briefing he and other DPP members organized in Lilongwe to address the current Challenges and hostilities facing the party .


Msonda stated that he and his Collegues are receiving death threats because of not being in support with Peter Mutharika's Presidential Candidacy at the party's Convention but also fighting for a democratic course in the party to allow every member interested to run for Presidency at the Party's convention have a clear an equal and clear  path.


He also added that thugs have been hired to kill them for a bounty of 1 million Kwacha .


He concluded by saying that he and his Collegues are not afraid of the death threats being channelled to them because they are brave and fearless, "Can you zoom out faces , do you see a face filled with fear here?", Said Msonda .


This comes barely days after Peter Mutharika and other key DPP members organized a press conference to address issues facing the country.


Other key notable faces at the press briefing Included Party's Director of operations Joe Nyirongo and Party's Director of political affairs Friedrick Billy Malata.

PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN DATES CONFIRMED

  Campaign dates for the upcoming Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student Union elections have been set for the 29th of November 2023 according to the Elections Committee Treasurer . In an interview with the Incumbent Student Union Treasurer who is also treasurer to the Elections Committee Jedidiah Kalilango, aspiring candidates in the upcoming elections are to start campaigning on the 29th of November 2023 and will end a day before voting while the actual day for the elections will be communicated to the Students later "Campaigning will start on Wednesday this week and about the election day, I will confirm" said Kalilango. He further added that registration for those aspiring to contest in the Elections is currently open and will close on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 at  11:59am. PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS COMMENCE

  The much anticipated Pentecostal Life University (PLU) student Union Elections have commenced at the Institution's campus in Area 25, Lilongwe. At exactly 9:30 am Students started flocking at the voting station to elect new office bearers to the Institution's Student Union and most of them showed delight and happiness to exercise their voting rights.
