MPINGANJIRA EMBARKS ON MORE HUMANITARIAN GESTURES

One of the Country's renowned Businessman and Philanthropist Dr Thomson Mpinganjira has continued staging humanitarian projects in the country after disclosing that he is currently constructing a Multi billion Kwacha Cancer Center in Blantyre.


Mpinganjira disclosed this during an event in Blantyre commemorating FDH Bank's 15 years of existence in the country.


The Philanthropist stated that the experiencehe had with his Wife Barbara Mpinganjira who passed away Whilst battling Cancer , made him venture into such a project.


"I spent three Months in a hotel in South Africa when my late Wife was battling Cancer , it is not an experience I would want anyone to experience ", said Mpinganjira.


He later said that the first patient is Expected to be treated next Month .


Thomson Mpinganjira who also happens to be the Owner of FDH Bank is not new in staging such Humanitarian projects having also formed the Thomson and Barbara Mpinganjira Foundation a Charitable Organization that seeks to provide assistance in various areas across Malawi by making Charitable Investments in the sectors of Youth , Health and Education In turn uplifting the lives of many across the Nation .


Once fully Constructed , the Cancer Center is expected to address the health challenges being faced by the country when it comes to fighting Cancer.

PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN DATES CONFIRMED

  Campaign dates for the upcoming Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student Union elections have been set for the 29th of November 2023 according to the Elections Committee Treasurer . In an interview with the Incumbent Student Union Treasurer who is also treasurer to the Elections Committee Jedidiah Kalilango, aspiring candidates in the upcoming elections are to start campaigning on the 29th of November 2023 and will end a day before voting while the actual day for the elections will be communicated to the Students later "Campaigning will start on Wednesday this week and about the election day, I will confirm" said Kalilango. He further added that registration for those aspiring to contest in the Elections is currently open and will close on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 at  11:59am. PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS COMMENCE

  The much anticipated Pentecostal Life University (PLU) student Union Elections have commenced at the Institution's campus in Area 25, Lilongwe. At exactly 9:30 am Students started flocking at the voting station to elect new office bearers to the Institution's Student Union and most of them showed delight and happiness to exercise their voting rights.
