SIX KILLED IN GAZA , AS ISRAEL STRIKES

Six  people have been killed  at al-Maghazi refugee camp in the Gaza strip  as a result of Israeli airstrike on a School in the region , United Nations has confirmed.


Dozens of others were injured, and it's thought the numbers will increase, according to the statement from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).


“This is outrageous, and it again shows a flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians," the statement adds. "No place is safe in Gaza anymore, not even UNRWA facilities.

UNRWA says the hit took place during Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip.


It adds: “At least 4,000 people have taken

refuge in this UNRWA school turned shelter.

They had and still have nowhere else to go."

PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN DATES CONFIRMED

  Campaign dates for the upcoming Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student Union elections have been set for the 29th of November 2023 according to the Elections Committee Treasurer . In an interview with the Incumbent Student Union Treasurer who is also treasurer to the Elections Committee Jedidiah Kalilango, aspiring candidates in the upcoming elections are to start campaigning on the 29th of November 2023 and will end a day before voting while the actual day for the elections will be communicated to the Students later "Campaigning will start on Wednesday this week and about the election day, I will confirm" said Kalilango. He further added that registration for those aspiring to contest in the Elections is currently open and will close on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 at  11:59am.   The much anticipated Pentecostal Life University (PLU) student Union Elections have commenced at the Institution's campus in Area 25, Lilongwe. At exactly 9:30 am Students started flocking at the voting station to elect new office bearers to the Institution's Student Union and most of them showed delight and happiness to exercise their voting rights.
