MALAWI AND CHINA ENTER INTO AGREEMENT

 


The governments of Malawi and China have entered into a 2 billion Euros equivalent to K2 trillion agreement that will see the Chinese government sanction the construction , electrification and signalling of a complete rail network in the Country.


This was made official during the 3rd Road and Belt Forum Currently happening in Beijing , where Minister of Transport and Public Works Jacob Hara signed the deal with China Railway Signal Communication Corporation.


Hara says the deal will bring about the much needed boost to the transport sector, particularly the railway sector.
