The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority ( MACRA) has agreed with Multi Choice Malawi's proposal to raise it's subscription Fees for it's services in the country.

In a letter released by MACRA being directed to the general manager of Multi Choice Malawi , MACRA has stated that the proposed tariffs which were submitted by multi choice Malawi have been considered and approved by the Authority and they expect DSTV services to resume in the country soon.

Commenting on the development MACRA director general Daudi Suleman has said that the Authority gave the approval Communication to Multichoice Malawi this morning and that they were waiting for the courts to direct them if there was any breach in other aspects of the law and regulation by this unnecessary stand off by  Multi choice Malawi .

Multi choice Malawi earlier released a statement stating that the outcome of the case between them and MACRA will determine whether they will resume their service delivery in the country or not .

Earlier last month Multichoice Malawi had suspended its service delivery in the country due to MACRA's refusal to approve raise in subscription Fees for their TV packages .
