BULLETS FACE TP MAZEMBE

TNM Super league deffending Champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets are this afternoon facing TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the CAF Champions league second round preliminary stage first leg at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.


Bullets progressed to the second preliminary stage of the competition after beating FC Dragon of Equatorial Guinea by 3 goals to nil on aggregate .


TP Mazembe who have lifted the Continental silverware five times  come into this match from a 3 nil win away to Lubumbashi sporting in their domestic league match and come as favourites after having a history of putting in scintillating performances in this competition.


Bullets will be looking to qualify for the CAF Champions league group stages for the second time in their history since 2004 when they last made it to the competition's group stage .


Ahead of the Match , Bullets gaffer Kalisto Pasuwa has said that he has talked to his charges about the match and the boys are motivated for a win against Tp Mazembe this afternoon .


On the other hand , TP Mazembe mentor Senegalese  Lamine Ndiaye has stated that his players should approach this game with caution further saying that Bullets should not be underated for the fact that they are playing at their own backyard .


The return leg will be played on the 30th of September 2023 in Lubumbashi in Democratic Republic of Congo.

PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN DATES CONFIRMED

  Campaign dates for the upcoming Pentecostal Life University (PLU) Student Union elections have been set for the 29th of November 2023 according to the Elections Committee Treasurer . In an interview with the Incumbent Student Union Treasurer who is also treasurer to the Elections Committee Jedidiah Kalilango, aspiring candidates in the upcoming elections are to start campaigning on the 29th of November 2023 and will end a day before voting while the actual day for the elections will be communicated to the Students later "Campaigning will start on Wednesday this week and about the election day, I will confirm" said Kalilango. He further added that registration for those aspiring to contest in the Elections is currently open and will close on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 at  11:59am. PLU STUDENT UNION ELECTIONS COMMENCE

  The much anticipated Pentecostal Life University (PLU) student Union Elections have commenced at the Institution's campus in Area 25, Lilongwe. At exactly 9:30 am Students started flocking at the voting station to elect new office bearers to the Institution's Student Union and most of them showed delight and happiness to exercise their voting rights.
